INGREDIENTS
Time: 30 minutes
-
1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened
-
1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
-
1 cup (200g) packed brown sugar
-
2 large eggs
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
2 1/4 cups (280g) all-purpose flour
-
2/3 cup (80g) unsweetened cocoa powder
-
1 teaspoon baking soda
-
1/4 teaspoon salt
-
2 cups (340g) semisweet chocolate chips
METHOD
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with Supa Mama double-sided Baking Paper.
-
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until well combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.
-
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
-
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. Gently fold in the semisweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
-
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
-
Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
-
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
-
Once cooled, enjoy these delicious double chocolate chip cookies
