INGREDIENTS
Time: 15 minutes
-
2 large tortillas
-
2 ripe bananas, sliced
-
4 tablespoons Nutella
-
2 tablespoons butter, softened
-
Powdered sugar (optional)
-
Fresh berries or whipped cream for serving (optional)
-
Supa Mama® Baking Paper
METHOD
-
Prep the Tortillas: Lay out the tortillas on a flat surface. Spread 2 tablespoons of Nutella evenly on one side of each tortilla.
-
Add the Bananas: Arrange the banana slices evenly over the Nutella on one tortilla. Place the second tortilla on top, Nutella side down, forming a sandwich.
-
Wrap: Tear a piece of Supa Mama® Baking Paper large enough to wrap around the quesadilla. Wrap the quesadilla tightly in the baking paper, ensuring all edges are sealed. This will help keep the quesadilla intact and allow for an even, mess-free cook.
-
Cook the Quesadilla: Preheat a skillet or a grill pan over medium heat.
-
Place the wrapped quesadilla in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. The baking paper will protect the quesadilla from burning while ensuring the tortilla becomes golden and crispy. As the quesadilla cooks, press it down gently with a spatula to help melt the Nutella and bananas together.
-
Serve: Carefully remove the quesadilla from the skillet. Unwrap the quesadilla from the baking paper and transfer it to a cutting board and slice into quarters and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
