Supa Mama Bio Multi-Purpose Cleaner is produced from an organic blend of ingredients centred around a plant based surface active agent (surfactant/ detergent). This bio surfactant exhibits antimicrobial properties which have been confirmed through testing against the SANS 51276:2011 South African National Standard.

This standard uses a set of bacteria to determine efficacy or kill rate. Specifically, two gram-positive bacteria (S.aureus & Enterococcus hirae) and two gram-negative bacteria (E.coli & Pseudomonas aeruginosa), are used in the testing. When tested as per the SANS 51276:2011 standard, the Supa Mama Bio Multi Purpose Cleaner shows a 5-log reduction in bacterial load.

What this means is that for every 100 000 bacteria recorded at the beginning of the test, only one bacterium survived the action of the Supa Mama Bio Multi Purpose Cleaner. This translated to a kill rate of 99,999% or a 5-log reduction in the bacterial load. This is quite the achievement considering that the Supa Mama Bio Multi Purpose Cleaner does not contain any disinfection systems that use ammonia, chlorine, oxygen or alcohols.
